The attaching tools are held in place by a top and bottom anvil on this portable press. The matching component, such as a socket or stud, is held by the top tool, while the bottom tool will hold the button or eyelet. The pieces can be fixed together by squeezing the handle. The fabric will automatically puncture the button or eyelet. The M840 is ideal for repairs and working in confined locations because it is portable and handheld.

nEEDING SOMETHING A LITTLE MORE?
Double your output by using the Manual Foot Press to attach DOT® Fasteners. This Manual Foot Press for Press Stud insertion has a top and bottom anvil. The bottom tool will hold the button or eyelet while the top tool holds the mating part - socket or stud. The fixing is actuated by foot, leaving both hands free to align the parts. The operator is seated with two trays of parts allowing two-handed loading. A ratchet system on the swing arm ensures the fixing is consistent. The tool will self-pierce the fabric.

Each Blister Pack contains Press Stud Fasteners and one set of closing tools. Assembly instructions are provided on the rear of the pack.
